Three Poland basketball players teamed up with JR. Basketball standout George Billiris of Campbell Memorial High School March 29 to participate in the third annual Sink for Pink, a three-on-three basketball tournament to benefit cancer patients. The event took place at Campbell Memorial High School.

Event founder Andrea Repasky, in the midst of her own cancer battle, still thought of others. She wanted to help those who weren’t as lucky as she, cancer patients who didn’t have health insurance to pay for their treatment or who didn’t have paid sick leave for the time they’d be forced to take off work.

While undergoing chemotherapy not long after her August 2011 breast cancer diagnosis, Repasky began planning what would become Sink for Pink, in which all proceeds go toward cancer patients.
