YOUNGSTOWN

Beginning Monday, the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County will be making available for checkout at all branches an “OH WOW! STEM Exploration Kit.”

The kit will include a four-pack of free passes to visit the OH WOW ! children’s museum, 11 W. Federal St., in downtown Youngstown during the one-week checkout period.

The kits, which can be borrowed free by library cardholders, focus on science, technology, engineering and math learning, and contain books and information on science activities. Making Kids Count, a local nonprofit organization that supports educational activities for children, has donated the money for the library system to buy the museum passes.

The offer has no stated expiration date.

Only one kit is available at each of the library system’s 15 branches.

The free museum admission applies only during the week the library patron has borrowed the kit.
