Hope Foundation hosts wine event


The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and Window Designs and Interiors will present the fourth annual Bella Nitesh Wine for Hope on April 26 at 7 p.m. at Antone’s Banquet Centre, located at 8567 Market Street in Boardman.

The evening will include plenty of fun for everyone and sampling some of the best fine wines. Additionally, there will be entertainment provided by Simply Ed Productions, a silent auction and other raffles.

This year, the foundation will feature Henry Nemenz as honorary chairman. Nemenz will be the first ever recipient of the H.O.P.E Award (Honorable, Outstanding, Philanthropic and Excellent) for his lifetime achievement and contributions to the Mahoning Valley. This award is given out to the people who donate their time over a lifetime to children and the community as a whole. Erika Thomas, WKBN news anchor, will serve as master of ceremonies.

The event is sponsored by WKBN, 27 First News, Fox Youngstown, WYTV, MyYTV, Mix 98.9, News Radio 570 WKBN, the Lamar Advertising Company, Antone’s Banquet Centre and Minuteman Press-Youngstown.

Tickets are currently on sale for $50 per person, which includes gourmet hors d’oeuvres, wine tasting, entertainment, fine wines, cash bar and a collectable wine glass. Tickets can be purchased on the foundation website at www.hopemv.org or by calling Antone’s Banquet Centre at 330-726-2454.
