Youth Ministries plans program at JJC

Youth Ministries at Shiloh Baptist Church, 238 Bright Ave., will sponsor a Youth and Consequences Program from 1 to 3 p.m. April 26 at Mahoning County juvenile justice center, 300 E. Scott St., Youngstown.

Coordinators are Delphine Baldwin-Casey of Shiloh Baptist and Rollen Smith, JJC program facilitator.

“Prevention-Intervention — What We Can Do Better” will be presented by Baldwin-Casey.

Smith will focus on juvenile crimes, alternatives and incarceration, tour of the JJC and anger management and mediation.

The program is free, but space is limited to 100 registrants. It is directed at youths, but parents, groups, organizations and churches also may participate. Registration is required; those younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
