Carol Bruchs Leedy of Youngstown is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Elizabeth E. Bruchs, and Michael D. Cardwell, both of Youngstown.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael R. Cardwell of Youngstown are the parents of the future groom. The late Gary Leedy is the father of the bride-elect.
St. Edward Church will be the setting of the 2 p.m. wedding June 21. A reception will follow at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center.
The couple are graduates of Youngstown State University.
The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in counseling. She works as a housing coordinator at YSU.
Her fiancé earned a bachelor’s degree in applied science. He works as a sales manager at Dillard’s in Niles.
