Rocker Michael Stanley Supports Warren Non-Profit

WARREN

Cleveland rock legend Michael Stanley is supporting Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership in its effort to win $10,000 in the “50 States for Good” challenge.

“I’ve been playing gigs in Warren for more than 40 years and have always loved the city. It reminds me a lot of my hometown Cleveland. Both cities have their share of problems but each is also made up of tough people who will never give up,” says Stanley.

“I love what TNP and gregg’s gardens are doing to create a Garden District in Warren. It could be a very cool neighborhood – Warren’s version of Ohio City or Tremont. So get out and vote for TNP and bring home the money,” he continues.

Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership and gregg’s gardens are working with the Trumbull 100 to create a Garden District in Warren’s oldest residential neighborhood and to revitalize the central city located at the edge of downtown. Tom’s of Maine, a national consumer products marketer, selected TNP as the only non-profit from the state of Ohio to be a part of its “50 States for Good” challenge.

“Being selected for the challenge was awesome in and of itself but having Michael Stanley step up and support us has made this a very exciting challenge for everyone in Warren. This is a real motivator for getting out the vote,” says TNP Executive Director Matt Martin.

Voting is open to all Facebook members who may vote every day until the challenge ends on October 15. To vote, visit the Tom’s of Maine Facebook page then click on Ohio on the map. When the TNP box pops open click “Vote now.” The top 15 vote-getters will each receive $10,000. TNP stands in second place as of September 30th.

Michael Stanley & the Resonator’s next visit to Warren will be Saturday October 12th at the Packard Music Hall.
