YOUNGSTOWN

The second annual Masquerade at the Mill will take place Oct. 12 at Lanterman’s Mill in Mill Creek Park.

Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a torch-lit walk to the Mill, where there will be food by The Georgetown, desserts by Mocha House, signature spirits, craft beer, wine and themed entertainment.

Tickets cost $65 each, and valet parking will be available. Guests must be 21 or over to attend.

Brom Bones will tell the story of the “Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” and guests can have their fortunes told by tarot card reader Madame Josephine.

Attendees can dance to music by The Funkes with Nicholas Sainato on drums, John Anthony on guitar and vocals, Clay Colley on keyboards and Katelyn DeLadurantey on vocals. Sainato also performs with Krian Music Group artist The Strange Familiar, whose music has been featured on several television networks including ABC Family and TeenNick.

Masquerade at the Mill is a partnership between Mill Creek MetroParks and HandsOn Volunteer Network.

Proceeds will support HOVN’s services to Valley nonprofits by equipping volunteers and organizations to use their resources to meet critical needs in our community.

It also will support Mill Creek Lanterman’s Mill Restoration Fund. The Mill will need extensive repairs and upkeep over the next five years.

Tickets and information are available by calling HandsOn Volunteer Network at 330-782-5877 or Mill Creek MetroParks at 330-702-3000.
