Faculty present art exhibition
ALLIANCE
The University of Mount Union’s annual faculty art exhibition opens Tuesday in Beeghly Hall and runs through Dec. 6. A reception for the artists will be Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Works include paintings by Elizabeth Babb, art lecturer; sketches and sculptures by Robert Buganski, associate professor of art; paintings by Tim Hallaran, art lecturer; photography by Fred Cockrill; lecturer; paintings and photography by Margo Miller, department chair and associate professor of art; and paintings by Gary Taneri, lecturer.
Exhibit hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
Beeghly Hall is located on the southeast end of campus near the State Street entrance.

New dance school offering classes
Youngstown
The new Lindsay Renea Dance Theatre (LRDT) is offering a variety of classes, including Modern, Afro-Caribbean and Dance Conditioning.
School founder Lindsay Renea Benton is a graduate of Ursuline High School and Howard University, where she majored in dance and minored in piano.
After graduating, she became a member of Garth Fagan Dance and rose to principal dancer, touring nationally and internationally.
In the past year, Benton was a featured performer with Winton Marsalis and Jesse Norman.
All classes are on Sunday evenings at Olympic Dreams, 4403 Logan Way, Youngstown.
