Crestview 25-14-25-25, East Palestine 14-25-18-21

COLUMBIANA

Cassidy Ross had 17 points, 14 blocks and 12 kills, to go along with six digs and an ace, in Crestview’s four set victory over East Palestine. Megan Brown had 14 assists, while Carly Sensenbaugher added 13 kills for the Rebels (11-5). JV: Crestview 25-19, 27-25.

GlenOak 25-25-13-25, Boardman 22-19-25-22

BOARDMAN

Hanna Watson gave GlenOak (12-5, 6-3) a big boost with 18 digs and 15 kills in their four-game win over Boardman (10-8, 5-4). Megan Compson’s 40 assists led GlenOak. For the Spartans, Cailin Downie had 18 digs and Megan Volosin had 16 kills.

Howland 25-25-25,

Niles 17-15-14

NILES

Christian Carr had 20 kills and 11 digs, Kara Rushin had 20 assists and Lexi Miner had 15 service points as the Tigers swept the Red Dragons. Rushin also had four aces and Cassie Murcko had two blocks. Howland hosts Lakeview on Monday.

Hubbard 17-25-29-25, Austintown Fitch 25-20-27-17

HUBBARD

Macey Sarisky had 20 digs and 17 kills in Hubbard’s win over Fitch. Kelly Matanin added 51 assists for the Eagles. Despite the loss, Fitch’s Alex Corradi had 27 digs and Taylor Herman provided 10 kills.

Jefferson 25-25-25, Champion 10-16-14

CHAMPION

Jefferson had no problems with Champion, as Bailey Beckwith had 22 points and 10 kills for the Falcons (14-3, 7-1). Emily DeGeorge added 21 digs in the win. For Champion (4-12, 1-5), Brook Scott was the leader with 11 points. JV: Champion 25-18, 18-25, 25-16.

Leetonia 21-23-25-25-15, Lowellville 25-25-17-20-13

LEETONIA

Erica Gruszecki had 12 points, nine kills and 10 digs, Carly Minehart had 18 points, one ace, one dig, two kills and 12 assists and Erin Jones had 18 points, five kills and four blocks for Leetonia (2-12). For Lowellville (5-10), Courtney Conklin had seven points, three aces, 13 kills, three assists, 16 digs and one block and Lex Phillips had five points, two assists and 32 digs. JV: Leetonia 25-17, 25-22.

Liberty 25-25-25, LaBrae 23-19-23

LEAVITTSBURG

Leah Ieshnak had 16 points, 15 assists, five kills, and five digs to lead Liberty (14-3) comfortably over LaBrae (8-8, 2-3). Courtney Iucak and Mackenzie Stanley each recorded 14 kills for the Leopards. Somer McCoy registered 15 digs and five blocks for the Vikings. JV: LaBrae 2-1.

Mathews 22-25-25-25, Lordstown 25-15-22-18

VIENNA

Maddie Williams had 11 kills and Maddie Grimes had 10 digs, as Mathews (8-8, 6-5) came back to beat Lordstown after losing the first set. The Mustangs got 12 assists Marisa O’Dell. JV: Mathews 25-16, 25-20.

Mineral Ridge 25-28-25, United 21-26-19

MINERAL RIDGE

Breanna Miner led all scorers with 14 assists and 12 points, as Mineral Ridge (11-4, 7-3) battled past United. Peyton Allen also had 20 digs for the Rams. Claudia Rockhold chipped in with 11 kills for the Eagles.

Poland 25-25-25, Ursuline 19-12-15

POLAND

Allison Berend led Poland with 14 kills, four points and one aces, Mirhanda Henneman added 22 assists, two aces and eight points and Bailey Bury had 27 digs, three aces and eight points. Ursuline got 15 digs and five points from Taylor Jones. JVs: Poland 2-1.

Warren Harding 25-25-25, Cleveland Heights 12-16-15

WARREN

Sumayyah Muhammad led the way with nine kills, five aces, and three blocks, as Warren Harding defeated Cleveland Heights in straight sets. Kristin Sampson added 20 assists for the Raiders. JV: Harding 2-0.

West Branch 25-25-25, Alliance 16-10-6

BELOIT

Bailey McElwain had 21 points and seven aces in West Branch’s straight set victory. Taryn Hahn and Sydney Townes each had four blocks for the Warriors (7-11, 3-7). Cheyene Harris led Alliance with 10 digs. JV: 25-17, 25-14.

Youngstown Christian 25-25-25, East 13-13-13

YOUNGSTOWN

Daria Shavers with 11 points, Arlivian Cheirs had 19 hits, Paris Yanno had 20 sets and Sarah Crouch had seven blocks for YCS (7-9). JV: YCS 2-0.
