YOUNGSTOWN — An Austintown woman was sentenced to 25 years in prison by Judge Maureen Sweeney after pleading guilty to a bill of information accusing her of raping two children under the age of 13.

Connie Ramirez, 43, was also designated a Tier 3 sex offender, requiring her to register with authorities after she is released from prison. She pleaded guilty to three counts of rape and a count of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material.

The bill of information, says she abused the children beginning in November of 2011.

Prosecutors say they first became aware of Ramirez while investigating allegations of abuse by a Trumbull County man. A Trumbull County grand jury last week indicted William F. Brock, 65, of Mason Street, Niles, on 35 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor

Ramirez is reportedly a friend of Brock, who neighbors said sometimes identifies himself as Santa Claus.
