Group awards scholarship

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Austintown Growth Foundation awarded a scholarship to Brandon Fisher, above, at a recent foundation meeting. He is studying math at Youngstown State University. Presenting a check is Joyce Pogany. Fisher took honors courses at Fitch High School and played varsity tennis. He works at his church and plays guitar with his friends. His local band has won two Indie Music Channel awards.
