A couple already charged with four burglaries in Austintown in August had a fifth charge added Thursday by a Mahoning County grand jury.
Kevin Smith, 25, of Niles, and Amanda Newcomer, 19, of Austintown, were indicted Thursday for a break-in at a Claridge Avenue home in Austintown on Aug. 18.
The pair are in the Mahoning County jail and already are charged with burglaries on Aug. 16, two on Aug. 17 and an additional one Aug. 18.
Cash and electronics were taken in the burglaries.
Police were able to look at the couple as suspects from witness statements in the break-ins.
They were indicted on the previous charges earlier his month. They will be arraigned before Judge Maureen Sweeney in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court later this month.
