Austintown Fitch 41, Uniontown Lake 20
HARTVILLE
The Falcons (9-0) took one more step toward a perfect regular season with a workmanlike drubbing of the Blue Streaks (5-4). Fitch built a 27-0 lead into the third quarter and held off Lake in the second half. Darrin Hall ran for 148 yards and three touchdowns and the Falcons held the Blue Streaks to 7 yards rushing.
Hubbard 70, Canal Fulton Northwest 42
HUBBARD
L.J. Scott ran for 355 yards and three touchdowns, including an 87-yarder, and the Eagles (9-0) collected 530 rushing yards in a rout of the Indians. Scott also ran for scores of 17 yards and 1 yard and returned an interception 27 yards for a touchdown. Darnell Tate ran for touchdowns of 70, 4 and 5 yards and finished with 112 yards on just five carries. George Hill ran for touchdowns of 26 and 12 yards and caught an 11-yard scoring pass. He finished with 70 yards on six attempts. Quarterback T.D. Culp passed for 263 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another for Northwest (3-6).
Western Reserve 34, Mineral Ridge 21
MINERAL RIDGE
The Blue Devils (9-0, 7-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two) moved one step closer to an unbeaten season and clinched a tie for the title. Western Reserve jumped out to a 20-0 lead and withstood Mineral Ridge’s late challenge. The Rams (4-5, 1-5) closed to within 20-14 and 27-21, but could not catch the Devils. Nick Allison passed for 261 yards, including 130 yards on five catches by Joe Falasca and 94 yards on five grabs by Dan Rosati. Dan Zilke added 101 yards on the ground. Jonathon Baker passed for 143 yards for Mineral Ridge.
Canton McKinley 47, Boardman 0
CANTON
The Bulldogs (9-0, 6-0 Federal League) clinched the title with the rout over the Spartans (1-8, 1-4). Boardman lost four fumbles and one of McKinley’s touchdowns came on an interception return.
Poland 62, East 22
POLAND
The Bulldogs (8-1) bounced back from their loss to Hubbard last week, jumping out to a 42-16 halftime advantage. East is 1-8. Details of the game were not reported.
Campbell 46, Newton Falls 20
NEWTON FALLS
Campbell (3-6, 3-3 All-American Conference National Division) went ahead for good, 19-13, on a 65-yard pass play from Stephan Elash to Cory Hamilton with 36 seconds remaining in the first half. The Red Devils got two short touchdown runs by Adrien Brown in the third quarter to increase their advantage to 32-13. Elash finished with 194 passing yards, Hamilton had seven catches for 146 yards and Aaron Jackson ran for 85 yards. Brandon Fuller ran for three scores for the Tigers (1-8, 0-6) and Larry Zarlengo ran for 104 yards.
Girard 55, Jefferson 13
JEFFERSON
James Cupan rushed for 170 yards and five touchdowns, quarterback Nick Cardiero completed 21 of 23 pass attempts for 301 yards, and Jordan Graziano caught eight passes for 204 yards in the rout. Girard (5-4, 4-2 AAC National) had a 14-13 lead early in the second quarter then ran off six straight touchdowns. Cardiero also ran for two scores himself and connected with Graziano on a scoring pass. Jefferson is 3-6, 2-5.
LaBrae 14, Champion 6
LEAVITTSBURG
Justin Jenkins passed for a touchdown and ran for another as the Vikings (5-4, 4-3 AAC National) beat the Golden Flashes (3-6, 1-5). Jenkins broke a scoreless tie with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Keevon Harris in the second quarter. Jenkins also scored on a 1-yard keeper to ice the game with 2:26 to play in the fourth quarter. Champion’s Jacob Rasey had a 1-yard TD run in the second quarter. Rasey ran for 121 yards on 30 carries. Harris ran twice for a team-high 39 yards for LaBrae. Jenkins ran for 35 yards on 12 attempts. He was 6 of 17 passing for 42 yards. The Vikings’ defense came up with three interceptions. The teams will finish their seasons Friday. LaBrae visits Brookfield and Champions visits Liberty.
Crestview 49, Columbiana 21
COLUMBIANA
Collin Gilbert passed for 239 yards and rushed for 57 as the Rebels (8-1, 5-1 ITCL Tier One) won to remain in striking distance of unbeaten South Range. Gilbert scored two touchdowns on runs covering 2 and 11. He also threw scoring passes to Josh McDade (32 yards), Evan Beacher (20) and Jake Ward (21). McDade caught six passes for 112 yards. For the Clippers (3-6, 3-3), Mitch Davidson completed 17 of 31 passes for 293 yards and three touchdowns to Dalton Miller (38, 48 and 37 yards). Miller had seven receptions for 165 yards.
United 55, East Palestine 12
EAST PALESTINE
The Eagles used five rushing touchdowns and two late first half interceptions to fly past East Palestine. Garrett Beech accounted for four United (4-5, 3-3 ITCL Tier One) touchdowns, while Mike Martin ran for three scores — all in the second half. East Palestine (0-9, 0-6) continued its struggles, gaining just 163 total yards.

LISBON
Josh Liberati ran for two touchdowns and passed for another to lead Lisbon (3-6, 2-4 ITCL Tier One), which scored the game’s final 28 points. Liberati finished 7 of 11 passes for 99 yards and Jason Thompson ran for 92 yards. Jared Shilot caught two passes for 106 yards for Southern (1-8, 0-6), including an 84-yard TD from Gabe Richards.

The Bluejays defeated the Rockets on the arm of Jeremy Fitzpatrick, who threw for two touchdowns and 279 yards. Thomas Gatewood hauled in two first-half touchdown passes and 219 for the game. Fitzpatrick hit Gatewood from 48 yards out in the first quarter to give the Bluejays (6-3, 4-2 ITCL Tier Two) a 7-0 lead. After Lowellville tied it, the pair hooked up again for a 45-yard score. Fitzpatrick also rushed for two touchdowns. Alex Harklerode scored two touchdowns for the Rockets (5-4, 3-3).
Bedford 13, Warren Harding 6
BEDFORD
Lamar Carmichael threw for 69 yards and a touchdown but Harding couldn’t rally from a 13-0 deficit. Keemari Murry added 40 yards rushing for the Raiders (4-5, 3-3 Lake Erie League). Jethel Ware threw for 94 yards and a TD and London Cloud ran for 81 yards and a TD for Bedford (8-1, 5-1).

D.J. Wilson caught a 7-yard TD pass from Josh Lyon with 8:44 left in the fourth quarter to rally Canton South, which led 19-0 after 15 minutes. Wilson ran seven times for 130 yards and two TDs for the Wildcats (6-3, 3-3 Northeastern Buckeye Conference), while Lyon threw for 100 yards and also ran for a TD. Matthew Weingart threw two TDs passes for Salem (2-7, 0-6), while Dan Rumsey caught a TD and ran for another. Weingart threw for 128 yards and Haedan Panezott ran for 88.

Dalton Hartshorn ran for 266 yards, including touchdown runs of 21 and 28 yards, and Josey Riley added a 23-yard scoring run as the Lions (5-4, 3-3 Northeastern Buckeye Conference) held off the Warriors. Corey Snyder threw two second-half touchdown passes for West Branch (1-8, 1-5). He hit Jeremy Gorby for a 15-yard score in the third quarter and connected with Bryce Butcher for a 44-yard touchdown in the fourth.
Windham 28, Southington 27
SOUTHINGTON
Seth Moore caught a 3-yard TD pass from Parker Rickey with 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, then the two connected on a two-point conversion to give Windham a one-point lead that held up. Rickey threw for 156 yards and three TDs and ran for another TD to lead the Bombers (3-5, 2-2 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Brendan Baugher caught a TD pass, ran for a touchdown and returned an interception 60 yards for another score to lead Southington (5-4, 2-2), which led 27-14 midway through the third quarter. Austin Casper threw two TD passes for the Wildcats.
