New Castle police probe early morning triple shooting


NEW CASTLE, PA. — New Castle, Pa. police are investigating a triple shooting that happened early this morning.

Police were called to 315 E. Hillcrest Ave. at 3 a.m.

They found husband and wife Shawntelle Johnson and Montral Johnson and Michael Foster with gunshot wounds.

Shawntelle Johnson was grazed on her head. Montral Johnson was shot in an ankle and arm. Foster was shot in the neck.

All three were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Foster is in critical but stable condition. The Johnsons were being treated and expected to be released.

Police would not release information on a suspect or suspects, or on a motive.
