YSU quarterback Kurt Hess will be this week's Blitz Show guest. Hess had an eventful weekend, as he threw for a career-high 311 yards and four touchdowns in the Penguins’ 59-21 win over Illinois State on Saturday. He also added a 16-yard rushing score. The performance earned him accolades as the Missouri Valley Football Conference offensive player of the week and The Sports Network's national offensive player of the week. His leadership, in part, is pushing YSU to its best conference run in more than a decade.
Along with his visit, the Blitz Show will also tackle last week's high school football games of note, the coming week's top matchups, football players of the week, and other thoughts on YSU football.
