POLICE CALLS

A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Nov. 17

Drug possession: Marcus Bowersock, 24, of Euleria St., East Liverpool, was arrested on charges of drug possession and drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 18

Drug abuse: Chelsea Faloba, 25, of Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was arrested on charges of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia and James McVay, 30, of Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug abuse instruments.

Nov. 20

Warrant: Patricia Neely, 59, of Sampson Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant out of Campbell.

Drug abuse: Michael Fill, 53, of Sandlewood Ct., Austintown, was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 22

Drug abuse: David Mahadeviah, 19, of Indianola Road, Youngstown, was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

AUSTINTOWN

Nov. 18

Identity theft: An unauthorized credit card was opened in the victim’s name at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Assault: A woman was assaulted by another woman at the Budapest Inn, 3780 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A UPS delivery was taken from a home in the 2000 block of South Turner Road.

Attempted burglary: An attempted burglary took place at a home in the 4000 block of Woodleigh Court. Nothing was taken.

Warrant: Andrew Fisher, 19, of Johnathan Lane, was arrested on a warrant charging him with criminal damaging.

Nov. 19

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were reported at a home in the 200 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: David Mikolaj, 50, of Greenwood Street, Youngstown, and Anthony Sedeita, 48, of South DeHoff were both arrested on charges of theft at Kmart.

Warrant: John Perry, 48, of Wolfcreek Park was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Aspen Drive.

Criminal damaging: A car windshield was cracked at a home in the 3000 block of Cannon Road.

Bench warrant: Cherol Martin, 54, of Fifth Ave. Extension, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging her with theft and Roland Carter, 49, of Parkview Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant charging him with possession of marijuana.

Warrant: Christina Brayman, 40, of Northview Boulevard, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging her with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Nov. 20

Drug offense: Juan Perez, 20, of Colgate Ave., was issued a summons for possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia.

Disorderly conduct: Clifford Christy, 38, of Ohltown-McDonald Road, Mineral Ridge, was issued a summons charging disorderly conduct.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.

Warrant: Kayla Smith, 20, of Yorktown Lane was arrested on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a traffic charge and contempt of court.

Theft: Two computers and a pistol were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Aspen Drive.

Recovered property: Numerous gift cards were recovered from two females at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Nov. 21

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made to a 7-month-old at a home in the 2000 block of Wilcox Road.

Lost or stolen property: A boy’s wallet was reported lost or stolen at Kmart.

Theft: Peraesia Padgett, 22, of Leo Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of theft, possession of criminal tools and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and Stacey Anblin, 22, of Coitsville Road, Campbell, was arrested on a charge of complicity to theft at J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Nov. 22

Warrant: Garold Shank, 47, of Carmel Anchor Road, Rogers, was arrested on a warrant charging him with criminal damaging, abduction, menacing and possession of criminal tools.

Burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 300 block of N. Roanoke Avenue.

Misuse of credit card: Charges were filed with Niles police for a stolen credit card at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

Disturbance: A fight was reported at the Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Michael Sherick, 30 and Lisa Sherick, 55, both of Signature Place, were issued summonses charging them with theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Nov. 23

Drug offense: Ryan Stoddard, 19, of 81 Notre Dame Drive, Campbell, was issued two summonses charging possession of marijuana.

Drug offense: Alec Barone, 18, of Duke Circle and Dilev Benyak, 19 of S. Edgehill Ave. were both issued summonses charging possession of marijuana.

Theft: Three juvenile shoplifters were turned over to their parents at Kmart.

Theft: Kenneth Porter, 62, of Martin Luther King Blvd., was arrested on a charge of theft of $56.66 in gloves at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Nov. 24

Aggravated burglary: Money and a wallet were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Menacing: A man is a suspect in a case of menacing at an apartment in the 2000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Elizabeth Innocenzi, 45, of Baylor Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Warrant: Miranda Sparks, 19, of Meander Glen Drive was arrested on a warrant charging her with failure to appear.

Theft: Fuel was taken from an auto at I-80 Video, 5333 Seventy-Six Drive.

Drug offense: Klevon Hill, 20, of Kensington Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons charging possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Domestic violence: Mark Piroch, 25, of 128 N. Main St., was arrested on a domestic violence charge and charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments.
