Kindergarten students in Patricia Bartholomew’s at St. Charles School class were movie stars for a day Sept. 30 at the Pitch Perfect Premiere.

Bartholomew explained the purpose of the event.

“The Home and School Association purchased iPads for the teachers so I decided to make a movie with the students,” said Bartholomew.

“It was my first experiment making a video with the iPad. We then invited the parents to our low budget film premiere.”

The premise of the movie was that all of the students were movie stars, but something goes wrong during the day, like a broken arm or a bad hair day.

The students sang a song that reminded them to not let the bad things ruin their day.

The movie came to a close with a surprise ending, during which the students said it didn’t matter if they messed up, “mom and dad will like the picture anyway.”
