Visiting Judge Michael Nunner on Friday agreed to a defense request to postpone a preliminary hearing for John Dellick.
Judge Nunner rescheduled the hearing on the charge of aggravated assault, and special prosecutors with the state attorney general’s office did not object to the continuance.
Dellick, 19, the son of Mahoning County Juvenile Court Judge Theresa Dellick, is accused of a road- rage incident in Canfield Township on Oct. 18 where he collided with another car during an argument.
He also faces misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing in Youngstown Municipal Court for allegedly threatening a woman on the campus of Youngstown State University earlier this month. He has a Dec. 18 pretrial hearing in municipal court on that charge.
