Plans for the $500,000 Lockwood Blvd. bridge proposed to span Lake Newport in Mill Creek Park at Midlothian Blvd, are dropped by county Engineer Robert J. Schomer because PWA officials in Washington refused to approve a $110,000 request made by the county.
