AUCTIONS

St. John Orthodox Church, 3180 Morefield Road, Hermitage, Pa., is sponsoring a basket auction Sunday in the fellowship hall. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., and the drawing will begin at 3. Admission and refreshments are $5. For ticket reservations call 724-346-4457.

St. Rose Home and School’s 15th annual auction will take place Friday at Leo’s Ristorante, 7042 E. Market St., Howland. A preview will begin at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30, and a silent auction will follow. The live auction will begin at 8, and checkout is at 9:30. BINGO, CARD PARTIES

Bethlehem WELCA of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 388 E. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, will present Holiday Bingo from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 7. Admission is $7 per person and includes unlimited bingo play with prizes and a salad lunch. There also will be a 50-50 raffle. CRAFT SHOWS

Edison Place Residence and Friends is sponsoring its second annual craft sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Edison Place Senior Apartments, 36 W. Church St., Niles. FLEA MARKETS

Columbiana First Presbyterian Church, 28 E. Park Ave., will have its seventh annual indoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday during the Christmas in Columbiana weekend. SALES

Friends of the Howland Library is having a holiday book sale from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Howland Branch of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 9095 E. Market St., Howland. SPECIAL EVENTS

Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will host a Christmas cookie walk, soup and quilt sale from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 14. Homemade cookies will cost $5 a dozen. Hubbard Pool Boosters Winter Wine Tour is set for Dec. 7. The cost is $35 per person and includes stops at L’uva Bella, Masterpietro, Candlelight and Emerine Estates.
