LORDSTOWN

Two men and a woman have pleaded innocent in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to charges that could land them in prison for more than 10 years after a July drug investigation on Hallock Young Road.

Charged were Larry E. Moran, 40, of Maple Street in Niles, illegal manufacture of drugs and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs; Chad M. Richmond, 33, of North Benton, Ohio, illegal manufacture of drugs or cultivation of marijuana and illegal manufacture of drugs or cultivation of marijuana; and Samantha L. Bumbico, 33, of Kenilworth Avenue southeast in Warren, illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly or possession or chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and endangering children.

Moran was arraigned Nov. 4; Richmond was arraigned Nov. 5; and Bumbico was arraigned Wednesday. All three are in the Trumbull County jail after their arrests on different days by the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and Lordstown Police Department.

All three were secretly indicted by a Trumbull County grand jury Oct. 30. Charges against all three carry prison sentences of close to 20 years if convicted.

The indictments followed an investigation and July 26 a raid at an apartment at 1005 Hallock Young Road, where investigators found a suspected methamphetamine lab. The Trumbull County HazMat Team was called to handle hazardous materials found there.
