ALLIANCES
Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 for a dinner at the Serbian Church Hall, 54 Laird Ave., Youngstown. Aundrea Cika Heschmeyer will give a talk on “Old World Traditions: Lost and Retained — Polish.” The Serbian Ladies organization will prepare the meal, and Jacek Sobieski and Dorotea Sobieski will provide cultural enrichment. Memberships, which run from September 2013 to June 2014, are available for $25 per person; the cost for each meeting is $15 each for paid-up members and $20 for nonmembers.
