ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 for a dinner at the Serbian Church Hall, 54 Laird Ave., Youngstown. Aundrea Cika Heschmeyer will give a talk on “Old World Traditions: Lost and Retained — Polish.” The Serbian Ladies organization will prepare the meal, and Jacek Sobieski and Dorotea Sobieski will provide cultural enrichment. Memberships, which run from September 2013 to June 2014, are available for $25 per person; the cost for each meeting is $15 each for paid-up members and $20 for nonmembers. Reservations may be mailed to OCA, Box 561, Canfield, OH 44406, no later than Nov. 26. Those attending are asked to take paper products for Beatitude House.

CLASSES

That Quilt Group I Belong To will meet Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. Doors will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. for those who want to work on charity quilts. ASG-Niles Chapter is sponsoring a three-night bus trip to Nancy’s Notions Weekend in Beaver Dam, Wis., from May 1 through 4, 2014.
