Poland Seminary High School was evacuated at about 8 a.m. Wednesday after its HVAC system picked up an unrecognized odor, which was coming from a room near the school’s main offices.
Everyone in the building was safely out by about 8:15 a.m., Poland Superintendent Don Dailey said. They remained outside for about 45 minutes before fire officials deemed it safe.
Dailey said nobody was harmed and classes have since resumed.
