JOHNSTON

The pilot of a small airplane received minor injuries when his aircraft flipped over during an emergency landing, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatcher.

The pilot, whose name wasn’t provided, made the landing at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at the private Urban Airport near the intersection of state Routes 11 and 88 in this Trumbull County township.

The pilot landed on a grass runway with the plane’s left wheel getting stuck in mud, causing it to roll over, the dispatcher said.
