GIRARD — A Youngstown man faces a felonious-assault charge after Liberty police said he shot a Struthers man three times, including once in the neck.

Richard James Armstrong, 20, of Price Road, was arraigned in Girard Municipal Court on Monday after his arrest Friday at his home by members of the U.S. Marshal’s Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force.

Armstrong is accused of shooting Quentin Lamont Boone, 18, of Struthers, outside a club in the 3200 block of Belmont Avenue, on Feb. 24.
