Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, open exercise at 8 a.m., bingo at 10, painting class and beginner computer class at 10:15, cards and OSHIP social worker at 11:30, financial planning seminar at 11:45, advanced computer class at noon, and lunch at 12:15 p.m.; Tuesday, open exercise at 8 a.m., Vets Helping Vets and bingo at 10, bridge club at 10:30, zumba at 11, cards at 11:30, and advisory council meeting at 1:30 p.m.; Wednesday, open exercise at 8 a.m., bingo at 10, lunch at noon and movie matinee, “The Passion” at 12:30 p.m.; Thursday, yoga at 9:15 a.m., intermediate computer class at 10:15, beginning crochet at 11, senior fraud forum at 2 p.m., dinner and monthly birthday party at 5, and bingo at 6; and Friday, open exercise at 8 a.m., bingo and discussion group at 10, trip to Butler Museum with art class at 10:30, and Easter luncheon at 11:30. Champion S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 445 Mahoning Ave., Champion, has planned the following: Monday, nurse will do blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol checks from 9:30 a.m. to noon; ballroom dancing class at noon; April 19, senior prom at Champion High School from 5 to 9 p.m. with music by Rex Taneri and crowning a king and queen. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and includes a catered luncheon. All seniors are welcome. Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., has planned the following: Monday, morning stretch class at 9:30 a.m., knitting and crocheting at 10; Tuesday, exercise with Jude at 9:30, AARP tax help 9:30 to 1:30 p.m., yoga ($3 for members, $5 for nonmembers) at 10:15, nutrition/healthy living at 10:30; Wednesday, morning stretch class at 9:30, health screenings 10 to noon and yoga 3 to 4 p.m.; Thursday, exercise with Jude at 9:30 a.m., AARP tax help 9:30 to 1:30 p.m. and yoga 10:15 to 11:15; Friday, morning stretch class at 9:30 a.m. and tai chi at noon. Monday-Friday: coffee bar 8:30 to 11 a.m., fitness rooms and computer cafe, Mon. and Fri. 8:30 to 4, Tue., Wed. and Th. 8:30 to 6; adult basketball and cornhole, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Wii gaming system, air hockey and ping pong also are available. Warren S.C.O.P.E. Center, 220 W. Market St., Warren, has planned the following: Coffee bar and lunch site for Trumbull County seniors 60+ is open 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for coffee and pastries and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for lunch Monday through Thursday. Menu includes choice of two cold sandwiches and two hot soups. Daily entrees for the week are: Monday, hot dogs and baked beans; Tuesday, soft taco; Wednesday, grilled ham and cheese; and Thursday, macaroni and cheese. Coffee is 50 cents, pastries are priced individually, sandwiches or soup are $2 each and soup and sandwich/entree is $3.50. Senior volunteers are needed to help at the lunch site.
