CORRECTIONS
Civil War author and historian Lester V. Horwitz will speak at 3 p.m. July 28 at the Wellsville River Museum, 1003 Riverside Ave. His topic will be John Hunt Morgan’s Ohio Raid. The wrong date for his speech was published Thursday in the Society Page digest on Page D2.
A birth listing that appeared on Page A9 of the Thursday issue incorrectly stated the residence of Brenda Muir and Anthony Christopher. They live in McDonald.
The Where to Go column in Thursday’s Vibe section incorrectly stated the date of the Angels for Animals annual garage sale at the Canfield Fairgrounds. The event was in April.
A story on Page A9 in Friday’s paper about the rehiring of Girard’s athletics director stated that two new teachers, Edward Mackiewicz and Ashley Belcik, would not receive a benefits package as part of their employment with the school district. Both will receive benefits packages.
