Bishop George V. Murry of the Diocese of Youngstown has appointed the Rev. Robert Lanterman as associate pastor of St. Michael Church in Canton.
Father Lanterman was ordained June 9, 2012, following seminary studies at Mount St. Mary Seminary in Cincinnati.
He earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from Youngstown State University prior to entering the seminary.
He served a clinical pastoral experience in the emergency room at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
He also served as associate pastor and temporary administrator at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Canton, and chaplain at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
