Columbiana County Sheriff's office arrest three in 2011 murder

COLUMBIANA

The Columbiana County Sheriff’s office arrested three people Thursday in the death of Holly Carosiello on Aug. 12, 2011.

Nicholas J. Carosiello, 32, of Chester, W.Va., was charged with aggravated murder, tampering with evidence, possession of drugs and two counts of firearm specification. Martina L. Michael, 21, was charged with obstructing justice and complicity to tampering with evidence. Richard Lewis, 60, of 923 Township Line Road in Wellsville, was charged with obstructing justice, according to a news release.

Nicholas Carosiello was arrested at 213 Church Alley in Chester; Michael was arrested at the Pittsburgh airport where she works; and Lewis was arrested at the Wellsville address, according to the release.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Columbiana County Drug Task Force, Hancock County Sheriff’s Office in West Virginia, Allegheny County Police Department at the Pittsburgh airport and the Chester Police Department.

Holly Carosiello’s body was found inside the Township Line Road home the night of Aug. 12, 2011.
