Lily Pond at Mill Creek MetroParks reopens

The Lily Pond at Mill Creek MetroParks has reopened this morning after maintenance crews finished clean-up from a fish kill over the weekend.
Hundreds of fish died due to dissolved oxygen caused by last week’s high heat, Saturday’s storm and the shallow depth of the pond, which is five feet deep. Tuesday’s storms, however, didn’t cause problems at the pond, according to park officials.
