FRIDAY

Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. Cost is $5 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. A limited supply of frozen pirogi will be available. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order, call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6 per dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

SATURDAY

Braceville United Methodist Church, 577 Park Road SW, Braceville, will sponsor a stuffed pork chop dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The menu includes mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, coleslaw, applesauce, homemade desserts, bread, coffee, tea or punch. Cost is $9 for adults and $3.50 for children. Takeout will be available.

North Lima Mennonite Church will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. The menu includes eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and onions, coffee, orange juice and other beverages. Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, 291 Scoville Drive, Vienna, will serve a creamed chicken on biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $8.50 for adults and $4 for ages 6-12. Menu consists of homemade creamed chicken on biscuits, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, green beans, applesauce, cranberry sauce, dessert and beverages. Take out is available. 330-856-4204.

SUNDAY

Aut-Mori Grotto will serve a pork chop dinner from 1 to 4 p.m. at Our Lady of Hungary Hall, 545 Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Menu comprises pork chop, potato, vegetable, dessert and beverage for $8. Carry out or call ahead orders at 330-550-8310.

Knights of Columbus Father Venglaric Council 11915 at St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, will be hosting a spaghetti and meatball dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the church hall. There also will be a basket raffle. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12, and under 6 will eat for free. The menu consists of salad, bread and butter, drink, and cake. Carry out orders will be available at 10 a.m. Spaghetti sauce and meatballs will be available for purchase for $5 at 10 a.m. Take your own container, one will be provided. A portion of all proceeds will benefit St. Charles eighth-grade students.

TAKING ORDERS

Christ Church, 1933 Canfield Road, Youngstown, has planned a Souper Bowl sale of chili and tortilla soup from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 3, Super Bowl Sunday. Soup will be sold in quart carry-out size for $6.50 per quart. To order, call the church at 330-782-2611. If no answer, leave a message with your name and quantities of the soup desired. Soup will also be available while quantities last without a preorder.

UPCOMING

Hubbard Baseball Boosters Club will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 16 at Hubbard United Methodist Church, behind the fire station. Tickets are $5; and under 3 eats free. Buy tickets from a club member or at the door.

Robbins United Methodist Church, 100 High St., Washingtonville, will offer “soups to go.” Quarts of a variety of flavors will be available for $6 for drive- through pick-up from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 6. Please note the new time.

Sts. Peter and Paul Church Senior U. O. L. Chapter will sponsor a stuffed cabbage roll dinner at the Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown from noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 10 or until sold out. Dinner includes cabbage rolls, vegetable, mashed potatoes, salad, bread, coffee, tea and dessert. Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for those under 10. Take out will be available. There will be a gift basket raffle and pre-sale tickets are available by calling 330-793-3237.

Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren, will serve an all-you-can-eat fish dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 1. The meal comprises ocean perch, potatoes, coleslaw, dessert and beverage. Meatloaf also will be available. Cost is $9 for adults and $3 for ages 4-11; under 3 eats free. Carry-outs will be available beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, will serve a Swiss steak dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 2. The menu consists of Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, bread and butter, beverage and homemade dessert. Takeouts are available. Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will have a drive-through chicken dinner Feb. 7 from 4 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $7 and includes stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie.
