Kelly Croysdale v John Castronova


Kelly A. Croysdale and John P. Castronova, both of Alliance, exchanged marriage vows at 1 p.m. July 14 at St. Joseph Church. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Rev. Gregory Fedor.

A reception followed at The Lake Club in Poland.

The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Patricia Croysdale and the parents of the groom are Patrick and Vicki Castronova, all of Austintown.

The bride wore an ivory satin modified mermaid gown with hand-beaded lace appliques through the personalized sweetheart neckline adorned with a beaded satin empire waistband and completed by a chapel-length train and corset back.

Kristy Newton, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor and Nicole DelQuadri was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carly Cicero and Courtney Ambrose, cousins of the bride, and Dana Schmit. Giuliana Ricchiuti and Sofia Castronova, the groom’s cousins, were flower girls. The attendants wore royal blue gowns.

David Castronova, the groom’s brother, and Brian Wilson, shared the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Casey Croysdale, brother of the bride; C.J. Cicero, cousin of the groom; and Keith Leiter. Ringbearers were Antonio Ricchiuti and Sam Castronova, the groom’s cousins. Ushers were Nick and Zac Castor and Zach Copeland, cousins of the groom.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Mount Union and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Marygrove College. She is a first-grade teacher for Alliance Schools.

The groom is an online marketing search specialist for Intrapromote LLC of Hudson, Ohio. He received a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Mount Union and master’s degree in digital rhetoric and professional writing from Michigan State University.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, the couple resides in Alliance.
