NORTH LIMA

Beaver Township police took four people accused of drug trafficking into custody from their homes in North Lima.

“We got a tip about drug trafficking in the trailer park and served the warrants without incident,” said Detective Lieutenant Eric D. Dattilo.

Beaver Township police were assisted by the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force in the arrest of the group from the Maplecroft Trailer Park.

The two-month investigation resulted in the arrest last week of:

Robin Gail Nichols, 40, 14 Center Drive, felony trafficking of hydrocodone, a painkiller.

Audra Lynn Bates, 45, 12 Center Drive, felony trafficking of suboxone, which is used to treat opiate addiction.

David Julian Agostinelli, 26, 4 Ron Street, felony trafficking of adderall (a psychostimulant) and alprazolam (for anxiety disorders).

Rocco Richard Melia, 38, 16 Center Drive, felony trafficking of alprazolam.

All four have been indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury.

A fifth person was taken into custody the same day on warrants from Boardman and Canfield courts for failure to appear on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Pamela Smith, 51, 4 Center Drive, also was arrested for failure to appear in Boardman Court for a probation violation on charges of receiving stolen property and attempted forgery.
