YOUNGSTOWN

Maria Annette Morocco of Youngstown and Vincent Anthony Cerni of Canfield exchanged vows Oct. 12 at St. Dominic Church. The Rev. Gregory Maturi officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at Avalon Golf and Country Club at Squaw Creek in Vienna.

Rick and Darlene Morocco of Bogart, Ga., are her parents. John and Carol Cerni of Canfield are the parents of the groom.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mercyhurst University and is associate director of major gifts at Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio.

Her groom earned a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of West Florida. He is leasing manager for Cerni Motor Sales Inc.

After a wedding trip to Italy, the couple reside in Youngstown.

The bride wore an ivory dropped-waist taffeta ball gown. Cascading floral appliqu s adorned her skirt and chapel train.

Sister of the bride Anna Morocco was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ariana Smaczniak; Skye Walley; Stephanie Walsh; Sarah Belotti; Katy Cerni, the bride’s cousin; and Mary Grace Cerni, the groom’s cousin. Julia and Ava Cerni, nieces of the groom, were flower girls.

The attendants wore latte-colored dresses.

John Cerni, the groom’s brother, was best man. Groomsmen were John Krivonak; Mike Clark; Kyle Parker; Andy Newfield; Charles Quarles; and Michael Morocco, the bride’s brother. Ushers were John and Vince Morocco, cousins of the bride; and Ray and John Cerni, cousins of the groom.
