Truck crash shuts Pa. turnpike eastbound lanes
BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) — A crash involving several tractor-trailers has shut down eastbound traffic on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in eastern Pennsylvania.
Turnpike officials said the crash on 1-276 in Bensalem was reported shortly after 6 a.m. today.
Officials said major delays could be expected and urged drivers to seek alternate routes.
Television news reports from the scene indicated that the crash involved three tractor-trailers and two passenger vehicles. There was no immediate word on injuries.
