Police seek man who held up Dollar General on Market Street
YOUNGSTOWN
Police were called to the Dollar General store, 2023 Market St., at 7:47 p.m. Friday for an armed robbery.
A white male went to the register to buy something. After getting the total, he pulled out a gun and said, “Give me the money,” police said.
He left the store on foot after the robbery, running toward the back of the building, then ran along East Evergreen Avenue.
He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a 1987 in large numbers on the front and blue jeans.
The suspect had not been caught as of 8:30 p.m.
