McNally to be sworn in as Youngstown mayor Dec. 30

YOUNGSTOWN — John A. McNally IV will be sworn in as Youngstown’s 50th mayor at 11 a.m. Dec. 30 at the Ford Family Recital Hall in the DeYor Performing Arts Center.

A reception will follow at Overture Restaurant. The event is open to the public.

Judge Elizabeth A. Kobly of the Youngstown Municipal Court will administer the oath of office. Bishop George V. Murry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown will deliver the invocation.

McNally, a Democrat, will officially take office Jan. 1.
