Show to benefit dogs

For the Dogs rescue group will sponsor a comedy show Sept. 7 at Magic Tree Pub & Eatery, 7463 South Ave. The evening will include entertainment by the comedians of Raise the Woof and DJ services by Highly Productions. A $20 ticket includes the show and food from Magic Tree chefs. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the show begins at 8. Waters festival
WARREN
Four hundred fourth-graders from Warren City Schools’ four K-8 schools will attend the Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual “Community Waters Festival” Sept. 11-12 at Perkins Park.
The outdoor educational event includes stations teaching students about water as a natural resource. The children will become water molecules and travel through the water cycle, see the effects of pollution on community waters, and learn how insects give clues to water quality. CCRA accreditation

Catholic Charities Regional Agency has achieved national accreditation through the New York-based Council on Accreditation.
CCRA provides services relating to housing counseling, domestic violence, pregnancy support, adoption, senior support, homeless prevention, case management and emergency assistance.
This is the fourth re-accreditation that CCRA has received in the last 12 years. CCRA has offered programs to residents of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties since 1946.
