Church provides 14 scholarships

Fourteen college students from Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, received $12,600 in educational assistance at the July 14 service. Students received scholarships from each of two funds, the church’s endowment fund and the Mickey Schuster Scholarship Fund.

Recipients of the scholarships and their school affiliations and degrees in pursuit follow:

Pierce Rassega, YSU, exercise science and physical therapy.

Sara Adair, University of Akron, social work and pre-law.

Thomas Crew, YSU, music and business.

Brian Huddleston, Kent State, architectural and environmental design.

Kari Huddleston, YSU, elementary education.

Sarah Gleydura, YSU, early childhood education.

Ashley Klase, YSU, early childhood education.

Franchesca Noday, Wittenburg University, political science.

Peter J. Rassega, YSU, management information systems.

Paige Rassega, YSU, human resource management.

Joshua Midgley, Miami University, business and finance.
