Trumbull

Hubbard: The Hubbard High School Marching Band will host its 2013 band night at 5 p.m. Sept. 14. The Liberty, Champion and Niles bands will perform, and the Hubbard Band will close the show in their newly renovated stadium.

Liberty: The Liberty Golden Leopard Marching Band, directed by Mike Summers, will host a band night at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Liberty High School. Participating bands will include Hubbard, Howland and Springfield. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, and those 5 and younger enter for free.

Mineral Ridge: The Mineral Ridge High School Marching Band has its 13th annual Show of Bands at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Joe Lane Sports Complex. Area bands from several schools will preview their halftime performances for fall football games; the school bands performing will be Girard, Niles, Jackson-Milton, Sebring, Springfield, Western Reserve and Mineral Ridge. Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens. Children 5 and younger enter for free.

Vienna: The Mathews Music Boosters and the Mathews Marching Mustangs will host their annual band night at 7 p.m. Sept. 4 at Booster Field, 4095 Sheridan Drive. Participating bands will be Southington Chalker, Burton Berkshire and Crestview High Schools. Cost is $5 for general admission, $3.50 for senior citizens, and preschoolers enter for free.

Mahoning

Austintown: The Fitch Falcons will host its annual band night starting 7 p.m. Monday at Austintown Fitch High School stadium. Participating high schools will be Fitch, Canfield, Boardman, Ursuline, Lowellville, McDonald and Springfield. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors enter for free.

Canfield: The Canfield High School “Cardinal Pride” Marching Band will host its 39th annual Show of Bands at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cardinal Stadium. The band will premiere brand-new uniforms as well as a musical performance called “Urban Lights,” in honor of the band’s invitation to march in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Parade this November. This year’s program will also feature performances by Austintown, Boardman, Champion, Poland, Struthers and West Branch. Tickets will be available at the gate. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, and children under 5 are free. All proceeds support the Canfield Bands music program.
