Man shot in thigh on West Chalmers Avenue
YOUNGSTOWN
Harold W. Michaels, 39, was shot in the thigh about 2:20 a.m. today in front of a home in the 300 block of West Chalmers Avenue. Michaels told police he was standing in front of the home when a black Chevrolet Cavalier drove past and someone inside fired two shots, one of which hit him. Michaels told police he had been in an argument with two men a couple of hours before at a nearby store on Market Street. Other than a blood stain in the street officers could find no other evidence.
