WARREN
The Warren Family Mission will have a school-supply and book-bag giveaway in late August and is seeking donations of book bags and school supplies for children of all ages.
The mission assisted 400 children last year and hopes to increase this number for 2013.
Items needed are book bags, notebooks, loose paper, pens, pencils, glue, glue sticks, calculators, rulers, scissors, washable markers, folders, binders, pencil boxes, colored pencils, protractors, compasses, book covers, erasers, hand sanitizer, tissues and any other items that may be useful to a school-age child.
Donations can be dropped off at the mission’s 2671 Youngstown Road location, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Donations during any other hour or on weekends must be dropped off at the mission’s 361 Elm Road location.
Donations should be collected by Monday.
