Phantoms advance to Eastern Conference final
YOUNGSTOWN
Cam Brown’s third-period goal and an empty-netter by Alexander Dahl in the final seconds lifted the Youngstown Phantoms to a 3-1 victory over the Green Bay Gamblers Sunday afternoon at the Covelli Centre.
The Phantoms won the series, 3-1, to advance to the USHL’s Eastern Conference final for the first time. It’s Youngstown’s first win in a best-of-five series.
Luke Stork scored Youngstown’s other goal. Goaltender Sean Romeo made 25 saves.
