YOUNGSTOWN
St. Matthias Church provided the setting for the 2 p.m. May 12, 2012, wedding of Erica Brooke Antonucci of Boardman and Jeffrey William Kempe of Canfield. Monsignor Peter Polando officiated.
Parents of the couple are Richard and Jennifer Antonucci and William and Donna Kempe, all of Boardman.
The newlyweds were honored at a reception at The Lake Club in Poland. They honeymooned in Ireland, England and France and live in Canfield.
Sister of the bride, Gina Antonucci, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelli Evans, Allison Greene, Armen Kapamajian, Kelly Meehan, Kathleen Schmiege, Laura Shimer and Michelle Wiechkoske.
Flower girls were Francesca Cassese and Kathryn Kempe, the groom’s cousin.
Brother of the groom, Michael Kempe, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Alex and Nicholas Antonucci, cousins of the bride; Dr. Mark Forsyth; Dr. Jason Gener; Paul Kempe, the groom’s cousin; Dr. James Kravec; and Brian Rafferty, the groom’s cousin. Ring bearer was Liam Mattson, the groom’s cousin.
Mrs. Kempe earned a bachelor’s degree in science from St. Mary College, Notre Dame, Ind. She is a clinical coordinator and registered nurse at Akron Children’s Hospital in Boardman.
Dr. Kempe received a bachelor’s degree in science from John Carroll University. He is a physician in inpatient medical services at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.
