Reliant Packaging changes location

Robert J. Teter, president of Reliant Packaging Inc., announced the company has relocated from Mineral Ridge to 120 Victoria Road.
The move will increase warehouse and shipping capabilities to accommodate and serve its customer base in the Mahoning Valley.
The new facility has more than 50,000 square feet of space, including 38,000 square feet of warehouse space.
The company plans an open house and ribbon- cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday that will include a display and samples of packaging materials and products as well as tours of the facility.
Rust Belt brews hit central Ohio

Beers from Youngstown-based brewery Rust Belt Brewing Co. are now available in central Ohio.
Rust Belt has been brewing for about four years out of the historic B&O Railroad Station in Youngstown.
Their current beer lineup includes Rusted River Irish Red Ale, Blast Furnace Blond Ale, Coke Oven Stout, Old Man Hopper’s IPA and Peacemaker Imperial IPA.
Rust Belt is offered at Boulevard Carryout, Grandview Carryout and select Giant Eagle and Kroger stores.

Kent State University-Trumbull is hosting a job fair from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday.
Potential applicants should dress professionally and have resumes.
A large number of employers will be recruiting at the fair including numerous large and small businesses, nonprofit organizations, career services agencies and companies looking for seasonal employees.
Group’s chapter to host competition

The Northeast Ohio chapter of the Society for Technical Communication is hosting a competition for technical communication materials.
The competition is divided into four categories: informational materials, instructional materials, promotional materials, and user-support materials.
Entries must be received by Oct. 12.
