Michael Abighanem was killed April 27 on the city’s West Side. A story on Page A6 of Friday’s paper misspelled his last name and had the wrong date he was killed.

MaryBeth Tkach of Ocean City, Md., purchased a copy of Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini’s book, “The Good Son,” for her brother, who went to school with Mancini. A story on Page B1 in Friday’s edition misidentified her brother.

Joel Roscoe of the Buckeye Association of School Administrators described the Poland School District as “truly doing more with less” during a forum Wednesday. A story on Page A1 of Thursday’s paper misquoted Roscoe. The error also appears in today’s Poland Neighbors, which was printed before the error was identified and corrected.
