Partial Ohio school report card data released today

COLUMBUS — Partial school state report card data released this morning for the 2011-2012 school year shows that Austintown, Boardman, Canfield and Poland all meet adequately yearly progress, which measures student achievement in subgroups including racial and economic factors.

Boardman, Austintown and Poland all were above the value-added measure, which shows whether students meet the expected one year of growth for students in third through eighth grade in reading and math.

Canfield met the value added measure.

Youngstown City Schools didn’t meet adequate yearly progress and were below the value-added measure, the data shows.
