Pa. State Police: Lawyer shot during home invasion

PENNSBURY, Pa. (AP) — Pennsylvania State Police say a Chester County lawyer has been shot during a home invasion and robbery in which he was targeted.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports that 63-year-old Fred P. Barakat was attacked at his Pennsbury Township home about 6:20 p.m. Monday by three men, two of whom were wearing masks. He was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Barakat is a bankruptcy lawyer who has offices in Chester County and Delaware.
