SenSource is an Ohio-based, privately-held technology company providing foot and vehicle traffic monitoring analytics since 2002.

SenSource’s people counters and video analytics are used in more than 40 countries in retail, casino, entertainment, library, government and health care entities.

Event targets issues involving construction

The Builders Association is hosting an education event Tuesday focusing on health care construction and the importance of infection control during building projects.

Area construction professionals are invited to the Avalon Country Club at Squaw Creek for a 4 p.m. presentation by Jeffrey Clair, RN, the infection control construction manager at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Clair has served as the subject matter expert for a training and certification program now being offered to construction crews, architects and hospital personnel.

Hess, Delta Energy work out agreement

Hess Corporation and Delta Energy LLC announced an agreement for Hess to acquire the commodity business of Delta Energy, a regional natural-gas marketing company with commercial and industrial (C&I) and small-business customers in seven states, including Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Hess is the largest provider of electricity, natural gas and fuel oil to C&I customers in the 21-state market area in which it operates. The transaction is expected to close this fall.
