Woodside shows its football pride

Young football fans got a chance to show off their team spirit during Woodside Elementary School’s NFL Day Sept. 7.
Students and faculty members flooded the hallways with jerseys of their favorite football teams – college and pros.Principal Dennis Rice enjoyed seeing the large fan base his school had to offer during the day, which included fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns and a variety of others.
“It’s fun for the kids and it also shows where their loyalties are. The kids just love to show off their favorite teams. I love it. It calls for a lot of conversation,” Rice said.
Students and teachers had fun as they discussed which team was the best.
